How we write an āya · كيف نكتب الآية

Three rules, and they are not stylistic. The text is written exactly — no word is dropped or shortened to fit a frame. Nothing is cropped mid-word: if the line does not fit the size you chose, the size changes, not the verse. No ornament crosses a letter — a medallion or a border sits around the text, never over it. If a layout would break any of the three, we say so before we make it.

ثلاث قواعد، وليست ذوقية. يُكتب النص كما هو — لا تُحذف كلمة ولا تُختصر لتناسب إطارًا. ولا يُقصّ في وسط كلمة: إن لم يتّسع السطر للمقاس الذي اخترته، يتغيّر المقاس لا الآية. ولا تعبر زخرفةٌ حرفًا — تدور الزخرفة حول النص لا فوقه. وإن كان التصميم يخالف واحدة منها، قلناها قبل التنفيذ.
