Mashq Studio is run by MASHQ (1click2open LLC, registered in Sharjah, UAE). These are the terms for the files you download from it. They say the same thing as the pricing page and the FAQ, in one place.

Your design is yours · التصميم لك

• What you compose in the studio — your words, your layout, your colours — belongs to you. We do not claim it.
• Designing, switching scripts and previewing are free and unlimited.

Downloads · التنزيلات

• Personal use is free. Each browser gets 4 free design downloads: the first 3 carry a small ownership stamp, and the 4th is clean. Sharing a design earns one more clean download a day. A Studio pass gives unlimited clean files while it is active.
• Personal use means your own home, gifts, a wedding or an event you host, and your own social posts.
• Practice sheets and nib grids are free and unlimited, for anyone, and a teacher may hand them out to a class.

Commercial use means selling prints or products made from a design, putting it in a logo or on merchandise, or using it for a client. Whether it is allowed depends on the face the design uses. 26 of the studio's 28 faces are under the SIL Open Font Licence, which permits commercial use of the letterforms. Two, TE Aldwawin (Diwani) and TE Al Thuluth, are licensed to MASHQ for this studio. Write to us on WhatsApp with the design link, and we tell you what applies before you use it.

Ordering a piece · طلب قطعة

When you order a piece made from your design, the file stays with the workshop for reprints of that order. Prices, delivery and returns follow the store's policies: refund, shipping, terms of service and privacy.

What the studio never does · ما لا يفعله الاستوديو

No image model draws or repaints a letter. Every letter comes from a real typeface shaped by the HarfBuzz engine, and the exported file is the vector you made.
