Is Mashq Studio free for students?
Yes, for 3 months. Any student with a valid student ID gets Studio Pro free for 3 months, in any country. No payment card is asked for.
What counts as a valid student ID?
A card from your school, college, university or institute that shows it is yours and that it is valid today: your name, the institution, and a date. A card with no date is read by a person.
What happens after 3 months?
The trial ends by itself and nothing is charged. We email you a week before. Your designs and projects stay yours, and you can choose a plan whenever you want one.
Do I need a university email?
No. Any email address you can open works. The student ID is the proof, not the address.
Is it only for students in the UAE?
No. The trial is open worldwide, and the card can be in any language.
What happens to the picture of my card?
It is read by our reading service (Gemini, by Google) to check it. If it cannot be decided at once, a person at MASHQ reads it. The picture is deleted at the decision. We keep your email, the institution, the country, the card's date and a one-way fingerprint of the card, so that each card has one trial.
Can I have the trial twice?
No. Each student and each card has one trial.
Is this the same as Mashq Learn?
No. The trial is for Mashq Studio, the design tool. Mashq Learn, the lessons, has its own plans and its free first lessons.
