Eight frames, one law: how we choose mouldings · أطر ثمانية
A frame is half the piece. When we rebuilt our frame range this season we photographed real moulding samples in the workshop — two golds, three woods, black, white and silver — and put the actual material, not an illustration, into the 3D configurator.
What to pick, honestly
- Polished gold — for classical Thuluth and Diwani on cream. The safe magnificent choice.
- Antique gold — darker, quieter; lets a dense composition breathe.
- Light wood / Oak / Dark walnut — modern rooms, Kufi and geometric pieces. Walnut anchors pale walls.
- Matte black — maximum contrast; the gallery look.
- White / Silver — nurseries, coastal rooms, anything airy.
Every bar is mitred at 45° like a real frame, because in our 3D it is the real texture, joined the way the workshop joins it. Frameless is always there too — canvas only, 25% less.
